Digital for All: Here’s The Why

Schools are closed. UNESCO estimates 91% of the world’s students are impacted and 192 country-wide closures are in place.

Healthcare providers are swamped, office visits are impossible, and virtual care is coming via telehealth – but obstacles to implementation of telehealth may exist.

Vulnerable populations such as the elderly are 21% less likely to have internet access and almost 50% less likely to conduct videocalls; the poor are 34% less likely to communicate with doctors online.
