[We recommend] My Local Cantine – Challenge 9

Another great event around quality food from Marseille, France! Join an international hackathon around food, nutrition and school lunches! Hack4nature’s Challenge 9 will address the quality of student’s cantine lunches in the city of Marseille as part of their year-long biodiversity focus.

Plans are either to utilize GIS to determine if there is enough land to create urban farms, or to analyze open data, France's open food fact database and their nutriscore, to assess menu quality and composition.

The event takes place 5-7pm Paris time / 8-10am Los Angeles time.
You can join the event at

Hack4nature is sponsored by Natural Solutions, a web and mobile agency serving biodiversity, and Donut Infolab, a collaborative space dedicated to understanding, manipulating and exploring data.

Let’s think collectively about solutions to this biodiversity crisis.
